Smart Coating Technology and Environmental, Safety and Health for Coating Applications
Environmental Protection and Safety, Smart Manufacturing and Non-Metallic Coating are bound to remain as buzzwords of the Surface Finishing Industry in 2021. Companies continue to upgrade technology and equipment to comply with increasingly stringent environmental and safety regulations. Amongst those successful cases, some managed to generate greater profits out of the changes made. In fact, environmental protection and safety management are no longer regarded as extra financial burden. Instead, they are being viewed as important investment strategies to improve production efficiency. Downstream sectors such as telecommunications, home appliances and automotive have rapidly increasing demand for non-metallic coating. Coating for substrates such as composite materials/reinforced plastics is no longer used just for surface protection, but a modification of their features such as electrical conductivity and adhesion or even antibacterial properties. Traditional Surface Finishing is shifting towards smart manufacturing, which improves product quality, delivery time and inventory accuracy. As there is a variety of smart equipment with multiple functions found in the market nowadays, how will they assist companies to make smart factory a reality? Join our Technical Forum, a part of the technical programme held concurrently with SFCHINA2020 this year, to listen to industry experts covering above topics.
