Lightweight design has been an important topic in automotive manufacturing in recent years. An efficient lightweight design not only requires optimizing achievements of choosing "the right material with the right amount" of different parts, but also developing lightweight materials and improving their properties. Coating applications play a crucial role in enhancing material properties, such as anti-corrosion, wear resistance and vibration damping, etc. This Forum will cover various coating applications that answer key challenges in automotive lightweight materials coatings.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR VOCs CONTROL, MONITOR & TREATMENTS

In July 2018, China released the "3-Year Air Pollution Action Plan" to help major cities achieve significant improvements to air quality. Since then, VOCs control has become the major focus while local governments, related associations and manufacturers work together to improve equipment used and production in order to reduce VOCs emission. However, VOCs issue still exists as some Chinese manufacturers continue to generate high VOCs emission, adopt low-end air control technologies and poor monitoring systems. This Forum will focus on technologies for VOCs control, monitor and treatments as well as the latest VOCs regulation update.
